2. Information We Collect

A. Personal account information

When you create an account, we collect

  • Email address

  • Password (encrypted)

  • Account preferences (e.g., Free vs. Premium status)

B. Facial Data and Biometrics

To provide our core service—analyzing facial asymmetry—the App processes images of your face.

  • How it works: We use computer vision technology (including MediaPipe) to identify facial landmarks (e.g., position of eyes, jawline, nose).

  • Data Collected: We collect the coordinate data of these landmarks to calculate symmetry scores.

  • User Content: If you choose to save your progress ("Tracking"), we store the photos you upload or capture in our secure database.

  • TrueDepth API: If the App utilizes the iOS TrueDepth camera system for depth perception, this data is used solely for real-time measurement on the device and is not shared with third parties.

C. Usage Data

We collect information on how you interact with the App, such as:

  • Device type (e.g., iPhone 15, iPad)

  • Operating system version

  • Timestamps of app access

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following specific purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To calculate facial symmetry scores, map landmarks and suggest relevant aesthetic posture routines.

  • Progress Tracking: To store your history of photos, scores, and landmarks so you can visualize changes over time (Premium feature).

  • Account Management: To manage your subscription across our web and mobile platforms.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Backend Services: We use Supabase (a secure, enterprise-grade backend provider) to store user data and images and process landmark data

  • Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS. Your stored images are protected by Row Level Security (RLS) protocols, ensuring only you can access your own files.

  • Local Processing: Wherever possible, facial landmark detection is performed locally on your device to minimize data transmission.

5. Third-Party Disclosures

We do NOT sell your facial data or personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

We only share data with service providers essential to the App's operation:

Supabase: For database hosting, landmark analysis and authentication.

Apple: For processing In-App Purchases and crash reporting.

6. Retention of Data

We retain your facial images and account data after account inactivity to allow reactivation. Accounts and their data inactive for an extended period of time will be deleted from the database. You may delete your specific images or your entire account at any time within the App settings. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently purged from our servers.
